Attuned Programmes Ireland have exciting opportunities for Social Care
Workers, Social Support Workers, Aftercare Support Workers interesting
in working in a new, innovative and truly person/child led way. Our
services aim to meet, not only the needs of the people who live in our
houses, but to empower them to excel.
We provide bespoke, individually tailored and high-quality services in
our Registered Childrens Homes, Aftercare homes, Supported Holiday
homes for adults and children with disabilities and Outreach in the
community.
Our houses are all community based and centrally located in order to
avail of all local activities, amenities and educational/employment
opportunities. Our aim is to support people to be actively and truly
involved in their communities. The exception to this is our holiday
home which is located on a coastal property surrounded by acres of
beautiful woodland.
We also highly value our teams of Social Care Workers experience and
expertise in their own profession and involve the teams at all levels
of reviewing policy, developing Working Groups and being central to
continually improving the companies delivery of high quality services.
Our relief panel is considered part of the team and is eligible to the
same pay scales, supports and opportunites as the permanent staff.
OVERVIEW OF THE POST: To provide ad-hoc support for the houses across
the company dependent on relevant educational criteria and experience.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Level 8 in Psychology
* Level 7 in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
* Level 7 in Counselling Professional
Or a qualification in:
* Youth and Community Work
* Social Work
* Social Sciences
* Teaching & Nursing
* Addiction studies where appropriate
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
* Experience working in a Registered Childrens Home
* Experience of working within a Trauma Informed Approach
* Experience working with vulnerable young people

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Ordinary BA In Applied Social Studies in Social Care QQI Level 7
* Open Training College National BA in Applied Studies
(Disabilities) QQI Level 7
* Recognized Social Care qualification QQI Level 7 or equivalent
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
* Honours BA In applied Social Studies in Social Care QQI Level 8
* Open Training College National BA in Applied Studies QQI Level 8
* Recognized Social Care Qualification QQI Level 8 or equivalent
* Experience of working with adults with a range of intellectual
abilities and ASD
Understanding of HIQA Standards and guidance within Respite or
Residential service setting and ensuring best practice

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Level 5 qualification in a related Social/Health/Community capacity
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
* Experience of working with individuals with a variety of
intellectual abilities and/or a diagnosis of ASD
* Understanding of HIQA Standards and guidance within Respite or
Residential service setting and ensuring best practice
* Experience working within HIQA registered service to required
standard.
* Experience working in a home support setting
* Experience working in an Outreach or Aftercare setting
* Experince working with vulnerable young people or adults
